Delivery Representative - CDL Required
About The Position
AmeriGas is hiring a safety-minded, customer-focused Seasonal Delivery Representative to deliver propane to residential, commercial, industrial, and motor fuel customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on provided local routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders while maintaining safe operations and high standards of customer service. Representatives work outdoors in all weather conditions and may work 8- to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating business needs. The position is seasonal and requires a valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
- Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
- Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
- Perform daily duties safely and follow federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Use required personal protective equipment consistently.
