Delivery Representative - CDL Required
About The Position
AmeriGas is hiring a safety-minded, customer-focused Delivery Representative to deliver propane to residential, commercial, industrial, and motor-fuel customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on assigned routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders. Representatives must follow applicable federal and state regulations and AmeriGas safety and operations procedures, and consistently use required personal protective equipment. Work may involve 8- to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating business needs, and employees must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
- Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
- Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
- Perform daily work safely and comply with federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
