About The Position

AmeriGas is hiring safety-minded, customer-focused Delivery Representatives to deliver propane to residential, commercial, industrial, and motor-fuel customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on provided local routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Representatives must follow applicable federal and state regulations and AmeriGas safety and operations policies, and consistently use required personal protective equipment. The work may involve 8- to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating business needs, and representatives are home every day.

Requirements

Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
Acceptable driving record.
Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Willingness to submit to pre-employment screening and, if hired, substance abuse testing in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
Perform daily functions safely in accordance with federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
