About The Position

AmeriGas is hiring a safety-minded, customer-focused Delivery Representative to deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on assigned local routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders while following applicable regulations and company safety procedures. Work may involve 8- to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating business needs, and employees must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

The position pays $27.00 per hour. Additional compensation may include eligibility for performance-based bonuses or commissions on completed sales, depending on the position. Applications are accepted until 12/28/2026. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

• Have a valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Have an acceptable driving record.
• Successfully complete a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
• Be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Submit to pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check; if hired, be subject to substance abuse testing under company policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
• Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
• Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
• Perform daily functions safely in accordance with federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
• Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
