Delivery Representative - CDL Truck Driver Home Daily
About The Position
AmeriGas is seeking a safety-minded, customer-focused Delivery Representative to deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The role involves safely operating a propane delivery truck on provided local routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders. The representative must follow federal and state regulations and AmeriGas safety and operations policies, and consistently use required personal protective equipment. Depending on fluctuating business needs, shifts may be 8 to 12 hours. The position is seasonal and includes a stated pay rate of $30.00, with possible performance-based bonus or sales commissions depending on the position.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
- Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
- Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
- Perform daily duties safely in accordance with federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment.
