About The Position

AmeriGas is hiring a safety-minded, customer-focused local Delivery Representative to deliver propane to residential, commercial, industrial, and motor fuel customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on provided routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders. Representatives must follow applicable federal and state regulations and AmeriGas safety and operations procedures, and consistently use required personal protective equipment. Work may involve 8- to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating business needs. The position is home daily and pays $27.00 per hour; additional performance-based bonus or sales commissions may be available depending on the position.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Have an acceptable driving record.
• Successfully complete a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
• Be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Be willing to submit to pre-employment drug screening and criminal background checks; employees are also subject to substance abuse testing under AmeriGas policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
• Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
• Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
• Perform daily duties safely in accordance with federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
• Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
