About The Position
AmeriGas is hiring a seasonal, safety-minded, customer-focused Delivery Representative to deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on assigned local routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders. Employees must follow applicable federal and state regulations and AmeriGas safety and operating procedures, and consistently use required personal protective equipment. The position is home daily and may require shifts of 8 or more hours depending on changing business needs. The stated pay is $25.00 plus a $4.00 seasonal differential, with the final amount depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, certifications, experience, and market data. The role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses or commissions, depending on position.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
- Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
- Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
- Follow federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
