About The Position
AmeriGas is hiring a safety-minded, customer-focused Seasonal Delivery Representative to deliver propane to residential, commercial, industrial, and motor-fuel customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on assigned local routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Representatives must follow applicable federal and state regulations and AmeriGas safety and operations procedures, use required personal protective equipment, and be willing to work outdoors in all weather. Work may involve shifts of eight or more hours depending on business needs. The position is seasonal and offers daily home time.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
- Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
- Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
- Perform daily duties safely and comply with federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
