Seasonal Delivery Representative - CDL Truck Driver Home Daily
About The Position
AmeriGas is hiring a seasonal, customer-focused Delivery Representative to deliver propane safely to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The role operates a propane delivery truck on assigned local routes, fills bulk tanks, and delivers propane cylinders. The position requires adherence to applicable federal and state regulations and AmeriGas safety and operations policies, as well as consistent use of required personal protective equipment. Work may involve shifts of 8 or more hours, depending on fluctuating business needs. The position is home daily and pays $27.50 per hour plus a $4.00 seasonal differential, with compensation depending on relevant factors. Additional compensation may include eligibility for a performance-based bonus or sales commissions, depending on the position.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Class A or Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Have an acceptable driving record.
- Satisfactorily complete a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
- Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
- Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
- Perform daily functions safely and comply with federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
