About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers Domino’s products by car to customers within a designated delivery area, and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and potential opportunities for advancement into management or other roles.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
• Ability to work in conditions involving temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and sometimes adverse weather.
• Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, use near, mid-range, far, and night vision, perceive depth, and distinguish hot from cold surfaces.
• Deliveries may require carrying product and navigating five or more flights of stairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area and bring them to the customer’s door.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders, including entering orders by keyboard or touch screen.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Navigate delivery routes and customer locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
