About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area and support general store operations. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including potential paths into management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to driving and delivering orders to customers’ doors, team members may deliver flyers and door hangers and perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The role involves working with customers and coworkers, using order-entry equipment, and handling products and supplies. The work includes standing for most tasks, walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, and regularly reaching, bending, and carrying items. It may also involve lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling trays on dollies, and navigating stairs or other challenging terrain. Conditions include exposure to changing weather, varying store temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Driving may involve night conditions and adverse weather.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and occasional stair or ladder navigation.
Ability to carry deliveries while walking and climbing, including navigating five or more flights of stairs when required.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area; make several deliveries per shift as needed.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and prepare products.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area into storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload and move product deliveries and supplies, including using a hand truck and stocking shelves.
Navigate delivery routes, customer locations, stairs, and other terrain while carrying products.
Perform general store team-member duties as needed.
