About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including potential progression into management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Delivery Experts also perform general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing orders, completing inventory paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work involves customer communication, use of computers or touch screens, and navigating delivery locations and sometimes adverse terrain. It includes exposure to varying temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and weather conditions. The position requires frequent standing, reaching, and other physical activity. Duties may include lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, carrying food and supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, and delivering products by car and on foot.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and over the phone.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical duties described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
Ability to meet the role’s vision, hearing, depth-perception, and hot-and-cold surface differentiation needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and carry them to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Navigate addresses, delivery locations, and adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Unload and move bulk product deliveries, including using a hand truck.
