About The Position

Salt Marsh Pizza, a locally owned and operated Domino's Pizza franchise growing in central Georgia, is hiring Delivery Experts. The role delivers customer orders by car and to customers’ doors, along with flyers and door hangers. Team members also perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and processing orders. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The company offers flexible scheduling and describes opportunities to advance from delivery to management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Ability to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Basic arithmetic skills, including making correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements, and ability to enter orders using a keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, and perform occasional climbing or ladder use.
• Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and carry items during delivery.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Far and night vision for driving, and near and mid-range vision and depth perception for in-store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Take and process orders by phone and in person, including entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Unload and move bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock items on shelves.
• Navigate delivery locations, including private homes and multi-story buildings, while carrying products.
