About The Position

Salt Marsh Pizza is a locally owned and operated Domino's Pizza franchise growing in central Georgia. Delivery Experts deliver orders to customers and perform general store-team duties, including preparing products, stocking ingredients and supplies, operating equipment, and processing orders. The position offers a flexible schedule and on-the-job orientation and training. Opportunities for advancement may include management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Must be able to comprehend and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
• Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Must have motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately, and be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Must be able to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Must be able to carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries, and may need to navigate five or more flights of stairs.
• Must be able to lift product deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and stack cases on shelves up to 72 inches high.
• Must be able to work around varying and sometimes adverse weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
• Must have far and night vision for driving, as well as near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers' doors within the designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including at private homes, multi-story buildings, and other delivery sites.
• Prepare products and process customer orders by phone and in person.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
• Operate store equipment and perform general team-member duties.
• Unload and move product deliveries using a hand truck, and carry and stack supplies.
