About The Position

Salt Marsh Pizza, a locally owned and operated Domino’s Pizza franchise growing in central Georgia, is hiring a Delivery Expert. The role includes delivering orders by car to customers, along with store-team duties such as preparing products, operating equipment, stocking ingredients, and processing orders. Drivers may also deliver flyers and door hangers. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Must have the motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately and be able to enter orders using a keyboard or touch screen.
Must be able to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, and occasionally sit to complete paperwork.
Must be able to lift and stack cases weighing up to 50 pounds onto shelves up to 72 inches high, and carry items including pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds and trays of dough weighing approximately 12 pounds each.
Must be able to push or pull trays on dollies and occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
Must be able to carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries; delivery may require navigating five or more flights of stairs.
Must be able to work independently and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
Must be able to meet the role’s visual and sensory needs, including near-, mid-, and far-range vision, depth perception, night vision for driving, hearing and talking on the telephone, and distinguishing hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including at multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
Operate store equipment and prepare products.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Take and process orders by phone and in person, including entering orders by computer keyboard or touch screen.
Communicate with customers and co-workers and provide correct written instructions.
Unload and move deliveries and supplies using a hand truck, and carry and move products as needed.
