About The Position
Domino's is seeking a qualified Delivery Expert to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to delivery duties, team members may operate store equipment, stock ingredients, prepare products, take and process telephone orders, take inventory, complete paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility. The work involves customer and coworker communication, order entry, handling payments, and navigating delivery locations and varied terrain.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Ability to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
- Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
- Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, reaching, climbing, and driving.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area and to their doors.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Operate store equipment and prepare products.
- Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage and work areas.
- Receive and process telephone orders, including entering orders by computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Handle payments and make correct monetary change.
- Navigate delivery routes, addresses, adverse terrain, and multi-story buildings.
