About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizzas and other products by car to customers within a designated delivery area and performs general store-team duties. The role includes preparing products, handling orders, stocking ingredients and supplies, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Flexible scheduling is offered, and opportunities for advancement may include management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including stairs, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.
Ability to work in varying weather and temperatures and around food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area, including carrying orders to customer locations.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and prepare products.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate delivery locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
