About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a delivery driver to deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area. The role may also include delivering flyers and door hangers, as well as general store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The posting describes flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Be able to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, and perform repeated physical tasks throughout the day.
Be able to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, carry products, push or pull loaded dollies, and occasionally climb stairs or ladders.
Be able to work under stress, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, and meet quality-control standards.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including through adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Carry products during deliveries and travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
