About The Position

Domino’s is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area and perform general store team-member duties. The role may suit someone seeking a flexible schedule, including a supplemental job, and offers potential advancement from delivery driver to management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Team members operate equipment, stock ingredients and supplies, prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, complete related paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility. Delivery duties include delivering products by car and to customers’ doors, delivering flyers and door hangers, and navigating delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and stairs. The work involves standing, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies and products, pushing or pulling trays, climbing, bending, crouching, and continuous reaching. Conditions may include adverse weather, temperature changes, cold and hot work areas and surfaces, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The role requires customer and coworker communication, accurate order processing and money handling, basic arithmetic, computer or touchscreen use, and safe driving.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and delivery sites.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Be able to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers and use telephone skills to take and process orders.
Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, using a calculator if needed.
Be able to make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Be able to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate delivery locations, including private homes, multi-story buildings, and stairs.
Unload and stock bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and over the phone.
