About The Position
Domino's is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area. Drivers usually deliver in one of the store's electric vehicles, though a personal vehicle may be required for some deliveries. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Team members also perform general store duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing orders, completing inventory paperwork, and cleaning the equipment and facility. Delivery duties include bringing orders to customers' doors and distributing flyers and door hangers.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
- Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
- Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
- Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
- Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
- Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Coordinate eyes and hands or fingers to make precise, rapid movements.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, bending, crouching, climbing, and driving.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers' doors within a designated delivery area.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from delivery areas into storage and work areas.
- Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Navigate to delivery addresses, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
