About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area and perform general store team-member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including pathways into management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to driving and delivering orders, team members may operate store equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete paperwork; and clean the equipment and facility. Delivery work includes bringing products from the car to customers’ doors and delivering flyers and door hangers. The position involves work in a store and traveling between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations. Conditions may include changing or adverse weather, store temperatures ranging from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical activities include standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies and products, pushing or pulling trays on dollies, occasional climbing and stair navigation, bending, crouching, squatting, and frequent reaching. Delivery routes may involve multi-story buildings and five or more flights of stairs.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Must be able to carry products while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Must be able to perform the physical activities described, including lifting cases weighing up to 50 pounds and navigating stairs during deliveries.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone; near, mid-range, far, and night vision; depth perception; and ability to distinguish hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and carry them to customers’ doors.

Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.

Navigate delivery areas, including adverse terrain, private homes, and multi-story buildings.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock cases on shelves.
