About The Position
Domino's is seeking delivery drivers to staff its stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement into management and franchise ownership. Delivery Experts deliver products by car to customers, and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. They work as part of the store team and may perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must be able to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by telephone and in person.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed, and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to perform the listed physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.
- Ability to work in conditions involving temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and varying or adverse weather.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car within a designated delivery area and to customers' doors.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Operate store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery areas into storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Navigate delivery routes, including addresses in multi-story buildings and other challenging locations.
