About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza and other menu items while providing friendly customer service and supporting in-store operations. The role involves driving safely and courteously, knowing and reading the delivery area, taking and processing customer orders, handling cash, and helping prepare orders and maintain a clean, stocked store. Delivery Experts may also distribute leaflets and door hangers. The position offers training and opportunities for career progression.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Must have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
Must have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
Exceptional and positive attitude.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen and comprehend written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and team members in person and by phone.
Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
Near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
Ability to lift and carry deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and perform the described stocking and material-handling tasks.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image and build relationships with customers.
Drive safely and courteously, obeying traffic laws, and know the store’s delivery area and maps.
Take orders by phone and in person, greet customers promptly, and process orders accurately.
Handle cash, make cash drops, reconcile transactions, and report tips accurately.
Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
Help keep the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use, return, and properly store issued equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
Unload and stock product deliveries, including carrying and moving supplies.
Perform occasional maintenance and cleaning tasks, including changing sign prices and washing walls.
