About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizzas, sides, and other menu items to customers while also helping with in-store operations. The role involves providing friendly customer service, taking and processing orders, handling cash, preparing food, and keeping the store clean and stocked. Drivers are expected to know the delivery area, drive safely and courteously, and represent the store positively. The position offers training and support, flexible hours, hourly pay plus tips and mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for career progression. The work includes driving and standing for extended periods, frequent hand use and reaching, and occasional lifting, carrying, bending, stair or ladder use, and pushing loaded trays. Conditions may include outdoor weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped cooler spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Deliveries may require unloading and handling supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
Have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
Demonstrate an exceptional and positive attitude.
Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Be able to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and comprehend written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and team members by phone and in person.
Have motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Have near- and mid-range vision for in-store tasks and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
Be able to talk and hear on the telephone and distinguish hot from cold surfaces.
Be able to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
Be able to handle physical tasks including frequent reaching and hand use, occasional bending, and lifting or carrying deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image and drive safely and courteously while obeying traffic laws.
Know the store’s delivery area and read area maps.
Take orders by phone and in person, greet customers promptly, and build customer relationships.
Handle cash, perform cash drops and reconciliation, and report tips accurately.
Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
Help keep the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use, display, return, and properly store assigned Domino’s equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
Unload and move product deliveries and supplies as required.
Perform outside tasks such as removing trash, and occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder for signs, cleaning, or basic maintenance.
