About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza, sides, and other menu items while providing friendly, courteous customer service and representing the store positively. The role combines driving with in-store work, including taking orders, preparing food, keeping the store clean and stocked, and distributing promotional materials. The position offers hourly pay plus tips and mileage reimbursement, flexible hours, training opportunities, rewards, and potential career progression.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Must have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
Must have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
Must have an exceptional and positive attitude.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and handle cash.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and comprehend written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and team members in person and by phone.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to use Domino’s-specific equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
Talking and hearing on the telephone; near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work; most tasks are performed standing.
Ability to handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, lift and stack cases onto shelves up to 72 inches high, carry supplies and dough trays, push tray dollies, and occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
Ability to work around varying or adverse weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image and drive safely and courteously while obeying traffic laws.
Learn the store’s delivery area and read area maps.
Take orders by phone and in person, greet customers promptly, and build customer relationships.
Handle cash, make cash drops, reconcile cash, and report tips accurately.
Contribute to the make line by making pizzas, preparing dough, and preparing or restocking toppings.
Help keep the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use, return, and properly store issued equipment at the end of each scheduled shift.
Unload bulk product deliveries and move, lift, and store supplies as needed.
Perform other outside tasks, including removing trash, and occasional basic maintenance tasks.
