About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to staff its Deltona-area stores. The position offers a flexible schedule and may suit someone seeking a main job or supplemental work. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and need to locate addresses, read maps, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings. Compensation includes hourly pay, tips, and mileage. Company cars may be available; otherwise, drivers need access to an insured vehicle. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role may offer advancement opportunities, including management and franchise ownership. Team members also perform general store duties, including operating equipment, stocking and preparing products, processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Work may involve varying temperatures, food-related odors and dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical activities include standing, walking, occasional sitting, lifting and carrying supplies, moving trays, and infrequently using stairs or a ladder.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have at least two years of safe driving history.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle for delivery and provide proof of auto insurance and vehicle registration.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to meet the described physical demands, including lifting supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and navigate to customer addresses.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and over the phone.
Unload and move deliveries and supplies, including using a hand truck and moving trays on dollies.
Perform occasional tasks requiring stairs or a ladder, such as changing sign prices, washing walls, or maintenance.
