About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area and support general store operations. The role offers a flexible schedule and on-the-job orientation and training. Team members may have opportunities to advance into management or other roles within the company.

In addition to making deliveries by car and carrying orders to customers’ doors, the position includes operating store equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Delivery Experts may also deliver flyers and door hangers.

The work involves standing for most tasks, walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, and performing store and delivery duties in varied conditions. Physical tasks include lifting and carrying supplies and orders, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, and reaching, bending, or crouching. The role can involve adverse weather, temperature changes, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and other conditions described in the posting.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
• Ability to travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the vehicle to customer locations.
• Ability to carry pizzas and beverages during delivery and navigate stairs, potentially including five or more flights.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, reach, bend, crouch, and perform other physical tasks described in the posting; supplies may weigh up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, use near-, mid-, far-, and night vision as required, perceive depth, and differentiate hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car within a designated delivery area and carry orders to customers’ doors.

• Stock ingredients from the delivery area into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders, including entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Navigate addresses and delivery locations, including private homes, multi-story buildings, and locations with stairs.
• Unload and stock ingredient and supply deliveries, using a hand truck as needed.
