About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement into management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Delivery Experts deliver orders by car to customers, as well as distribute flyers and door hangers. They also perform general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility.

The work involves customer and coworker communication, order entry by computer keyboard or touch screen, handling payments, and navigating delivery areas and varied terrain. Working conditions can include changing weather, hot and cold environments, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot equipment, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks may include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies and orders, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.
• Ability to carry delivery products while walking and climbing, potentially including five or more flights of stairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Handle payments and make correct monetary change.
• Navigate to addresses, including adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
• Unload and store bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and place supplies on shelves.
