About The Position

Domino’s is hiring a qualified Delivery Expert to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area and perform general store team-member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management. Orientation and training are provided on the job. In addition to driving and delivering orders, team members may operate store equipment, stock ingredients, prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, complete paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility. The position requires customer and coworker communication, order entry, basic arithmetic and handling monetary change, as well as navigating delivery locations and carrying products. The work involves standing and walking for much of the shift, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies and products, and driving. Working conditions include exposure to varying temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, cramped spaces, and sometimes adverse weather. Delivery routes may involve stairs and other challenging terrain.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical duties described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, reaching, climbing, and driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area; several deliveries may be made per shift.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Navigate delivery locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings, while carrying products.
