About The Position

Rogue Pizza LLC, a locally owned and operated independent Domino’s franchise, is hiring a Delivery Expert in Kansas City, Kansas. The role delivers pizza and other products by car to customers in a designated delivery area and includes delivering flyers and door hangers. Team members also perform general store duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing orders, completing inventory paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers flexible scheduling and potential advancement from delivery driver to management or franchise ownership. Work involves driving and delivering across varied terrain, including private homes, multi-story buildings, and stairs. Store and delivery work can involve adverse weather, changing temperatures, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped cooler spaces. Physical activities include standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing, bending, crouching, and frequent reaching. Team members must communicate with customers and coworkers, handle orders and payments accurately, and work independently or with others while meeting quality standards.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have at least two years of continuous driving history.
Pass motor vehicle record qualifications and a criminal background check.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone.
Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately, and be able to use a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to perform physical duties including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.
Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area and carry them to the customer’s door.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders, including entering orders by keyboard or touch screen.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Handle monetary transactions and provide correct change.
Navigate delivery routes, adverse terrain, and multi-story buildings or stairs.
