About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products by car and to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to delivery work, team members perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The role involves working in a fast-paced store environment and interacting with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs; delivery may involve climbing five or more flights of stairs.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, and perform repetitive tasks, sometimes under stress and to strict quality-control standards.
Ability to lift and handle supplies, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds, and to carry products during deliveries.
Ability to perform the physical demands described, including bending, crouching, reaching, climbing, and frequent use of hands and arms.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car and carry them to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses within the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Operate store equipment and use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage.
Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
