About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership. Drivers may also perform general store-team duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing phone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning the equipment and facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and distribute flyers and door hangers. The position requires navigating to addresses, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites, and carrying orders while walking or climbing stairs. Team members may make several deliveries per shift and may also unload and stock deliveries of ingredients and supplies. The work involves exposure to varying weather, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, temperature changes, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Store temperatures can range from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees or higher in some work areas. Physical duties include standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent use of hands and arms. Delivery work may require navigating five or more flights of stairs. Far and night vision are needed for driving.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, and meet quality-control standards.
Ability to perform the stated physical duties, including lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, carrying products, walking, and climbing stairs.
Far vision and night vision for driving.

Responsibilities
