About The Position

Domino's is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership. Drivers may work as a main job, a second job, or alongside school and other commitments. In addition to delivery duties, team members perform general store tasks such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing orders, completing inventory paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The work includes indoor and outdoor tasks in varying temperatures and weather, with exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. It requires standing for most tasks, walking short distances, occasional sitting for paperwork, and handling supplies and food products.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds, and to carry food products and supplies.
Ability to push and pull trays on dollies and infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and lift and stack supplies on shelves.
Perform outside tasks, including removing trash.
