About The Position

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area, and deliver flyers and door hangers. The role also includes general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The work involves driving and navigating to customer locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. Team members may make several deliveries per shift and may need to carry products while walking or climbing stairs. The position also includes physical in-store tasks and exposure to varying temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and sometimes adverse weather.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and over the phone.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and take and process orders using verbal, writing, and telephone skills.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Have the coordination and physical ability to perform the described standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, reaching, and hand-use tasks. Deliveries and stocking may involve cases weighing up to 50 pounds, and delivery routes may require navigating five or more flights of stairs.
Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate to addresses and delivery locations, including multi-story buildings and other adverse terrain.
Carry pizzas and beverages during delivery, including while walking and climbing stairs.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock cases on shelves.
