About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to serve customers in a designated delivery area. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may distribute flyers and door hangers. The role also includes general store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The company describes a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies or products, reaching, and occasional stair or ladder climbing.
• Far vision and night vision for driving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area; a team member may make several deliveries per shift.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to addresses using maps and handle delivery locations such as private homes, multi-story buildings, and other sites.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Use a hand truck to unload bulk product deliveries and stock supplies.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone to process orders.
