About The Position

Aaron’s Delivery Drivers help ensure positive customer experiences in a fast-paced, store-based role. They drive company vehicles and deliver, install, move, and pick up merchandise, while demonstrating product use to customers. The position includes working inside and outside the store, assisting with daily store operations, and connecting with customers in the community. The pay range is $16.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Solid communication skills.
• Working knowledge of electronics.
• Uphold the Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
• Desire to make a positive difference for customers.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for positions within the United States and at least 18 years of age in Canada.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory driving record.
• Must be able to be DOT certified if required at the position’s location in the United States.
• Ability to work a schedule with hours varying from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another associate.
• Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and summer heat.

Nice To Haves

• Experience moving household furnishings and appliances.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Stage, load, and appropriately secure products, and safely operate the company vehicle.
• Unload and install merchandise and demonstrate its use to customers.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing merchandise within the store.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Support day-to-day store operations and connect with customers in the community.
