About The Position

Aaron’s Delivery Drivers help ensure positive customer experiences in a fast-paced, store-based role. The work includes driving, installing, moving, and picking up merchandise, and demonstrating how customers can use their products. Drivers spend time inside and outside the store, support day-to-day store operations, and connect with customers in the community.

Requirements

• Solid communication skills.
• Working knowledge of electronics.
• Uphold the Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
• A desire to make a positive difference for customers.
• Must be at least 21 years of age in the United States or at least 18 years of age in Canada.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory driving record.
• Must be able to be DOT certified if required at the position’s location in the United States.
• Ability to work a schedule with hours varying from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another associate.
• Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and summer heat.

Nice To Haves

• Experience moving household furnishings and appliances.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Stage, load, and appropriately secure products, and safely operate the company vehicle.
• Unload and install merchandise, and demonstrate how customers can use it.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing merchandise within the store.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
