About The Position

Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. They also deliver flyers and door hangers. General store-team duties include operating equipment; stocking ingredients; preparing products; receiving and processing telephone orders; taking inventory and completing associated paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily.

The work involves customer and coworker communication, order entry using a keyboard or touchscreen, handling payments and making change, and navigating delivery locations. It includes walking, carrying pizzas and beverages, and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs. Work may expose employees to varying weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multistory buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Far and night vision for driving.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the listed physical activities, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping or bending, crouching or squatting, and reaching.

Responsibilities
