About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers products by car to customers’ doors and distributes flyers and door hangers. The role also includes general hourly store team member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. Orientation and training are provided on the job.

The position pays a fixed hourly rate determined by work location: $17.13 per hour at Pierce County locations and $20.82 per hour at King County locations, plus mileage and tips. Cash tips are paid daily. Paid sick leave is provided in accordance with Washington State law. Qualifying full-time employees are offered employer-sponsored medical benefits. Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers, in person and by phone.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements and ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including handling deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and standing for most tasks.
