Delivery Driver - Beverages
About The Position
Deliver, sell, and merchandise PepsiCo beverages, including Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina, by driving a route to local stores. The role involves unloading products, merchandising them to local standards, and building positive relationships so communities have access to quality beverages safely and on time. Drivers make multiple stops each day, check in orders with store teams, and collect proof of delivery when needed. They stock shelves and coolers, build displays, rotate inventory, generate invoices, and maintain daily records using provided handheld tools. Training is provided. This is a labor-intensive role in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, with the employee on the go for most of the day. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, from 4:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PepsiCo describes the position as full-time and notes competitive pay, meaningful benefits, and opportunities to grow a long-term career.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Hold a valid CDL Class A license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and follow DOT regulations. The posting notes that in California locations other than Stockton, non-excepted intrastate status is also accepted; in Stockton, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.
- Communicate effectively in English.
- Be able to repeatedly lift, load, and push or pull a significantly high volume of cases weighing 20–45 pounds during work hours, with or without accommodation.
- Be able to reach, squat, and bend while delivering and merchandising products, and work across a wide variety of weather conditions, with or without accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Drive a PepsiCo truck on a route serving local stores.
- Deliver products to multiple stops each day and check in orders with store teams, including collecting proof of delivery when needed.
- Unload products and merchandise accounts to local standards.
- Stock shelves and coolers, build displays, and rotate inventory for freshness and quality.
- Generate invoices and maintain daily records using provided handheld tools.
- Build positive relationships with store management while providing service and executing promotions and displays.
