About The Position

Deliver and merchandise beverages such as Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina on an assigned route serving local stores, including foodservice customers. The role involves driving a delivery vehicle, unloading products, stocking and rotating merchandise, setting up displays and promotional materials, and working with store personnel to ensure deliveries are accepted safely and on time. Training includes hands-on and classroom instruction. The position is based in Hollins, Virginia, and is described as a fast-paced, hands-on role spent on the move for most of the day.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid CDL Class A license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and compliance with DOT regulations. (The posting notes that in California locations other than Stockton, non-excepted intrastate status is also accepted.)
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Ability to repeatedly lift and load cases weighing 20–45 pounds during work hours.
Ability to occasionally push or pull using 40–150 pounds of force, with or without accommodation.
Ability to reach, squat, and bend while delivering and merchandising products in stores, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

Drive a delivery vehicle on an assigned route and deliver products to customer locations, including foodservice customers.
Unload products and place them in designated backroom areas using an electronic pallet jack or hand truck as needed.
Rotate and stock products on shelves, displays, and in coolers or vending equipment to meet local standards and maintain freshness.
Build small displays and set up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners.
Generate invoices and complete daily settlement of cash and charges.
Coordinate with store management and receiving personnel to obtain acceptance of deliveries.
