About The Position
Deliver and merchandise PepsiCo beverage brands, including Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina, on an assigned route serving local stores and foodservice customers. The role involves driving a delivery vehicle, unloading and stocking product to local standards, and building positive relationships so communities receive quality beverages safely and on time. The position operates Monday through Saturday, with a 4:00 AM start and an end time listed as 10–11 hours. Training includes hands-on and classroom instruction. The work is fast-paced and hands-on, with the employee on the go for most of the day and regularly lifting, bending, and moving product. Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid CDL Class A license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and ability to follow DOT regulations. California-specific exceptions apply: in locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted; in Stockton, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to repeatedly lift and load cases weighing 20–45 pounds during work hours, and occasionally push or pull using 40–150 pounds of force, with or without accommodation.
- Ability to reach, squat, and bend while delivering and merchandising products in stores, with or without accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Drive a delivery vehicle on an assigned route and deliver products to customer locations, including foodservice customers.
- Unload product and place it in designated backroom areas using an electronic pallet jack or hand truck as needed.
- Rotate and stock products on shelves, displays, and in coolers or vending equipment to meet local standards and ensure freshness.
- Build small displays and set up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners.
- Generate invoices and complete the daily settlement of cash and charges.
- Coordinate with store management and receiving personnel to obtain acceptance of deliveries.
