Delivery Driver - Beverages
About The Position
Deliver, sell, and merchandise PepsiCo beverage brands, including Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina, on a route serving local stores. The role involves driving a PepsiCo truck, delivering and unloading products, merchandising to local standards, and building positive relationships with store teams so communities have access to quality beverages safely and on time. The position is based in Maumelle, Arkansas. Workdays are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a 5:00 AM start and a 3:30 PM end. The listed pay is $30.30 per hour. Hands-on and classroom on-the-job training is provided. The work is fast-paced and physically active, with the driver on the go for most of the day. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Hold a valid CDL Class A license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and follow DOT regulations. The posting notes that California status exceptions apply: in locations other than Stockton, non-excepted intrastate or non-excepted interstate status is accepted; in Stockton, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.
- Be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Be able to repeatedly lift, load, and push or pull a significantly high volume of cases weighing 20–45 pounds during work hours, with or without accommodation.
- Be able to reach, squat, and bend while delivering and merchandising products, and deliver products across a wide variety of weather conditions, with or without accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Drive a PepsiCo truck on a route serving local stores.
- Deliver products to multiple stops each day and check in orders with store teams, including collecting proof of delivery when needed.
- Unload products and merchandise accounts to local standards; stock shelves and coolers, build displays, and rotate inventory for freshness and quality.
- Generate invoices and maintain daily records using provided handheld tools.
- Build positive relationships with store management while providing service and executing promotions and displays.
