About The Position

As a Domino’s Delivery Driver, you deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area and help with in-store work when not making deliveries. The role includes customer interactions on the road and in the store, with training provided for delivery duties, making pizza, and other store tasks. The position may offer opportunities to progress from delivery work into management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
Proof of car insurance.
Safe driving record that meets company standards.
Navigation skills to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, and occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
Ability to perform frequent reaching, bending, and continuous hand-use tasks; shaping pizza dough requires frequent, forceful use of forearms and wrists.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, use near- and mid-range vision, perceive depth, and differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to work around varying or adverse weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area; several deliveries may be made per shift.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Assist with in-store work when not making deliveries.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
Perform outside tasks, including removing trash.
