About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to serve customers in the designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and potential advancement opportunities, including management and franchise ownership. Drivers deliver orders by car to customers’ doors and may deliver flyers and door hangers. Team members also perform general store duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job.

The position involves working in a store and making deliveries in varying weather conditions. Store conditions may include changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical activities include standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, and frequent reaching and hand use. Delivery work involves carrying food and beverages, walking, driving, and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
• Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Must be able to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Must have motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Must be able to perform the physical tasks described, including lifting supplies weighing up to 50 pounds and carrying products during deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car and carry them to customers’ doors.

• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.

• Navigate to addresses within the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
