About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a delivery driver to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area. Drivers may also deliver flyers and door hangers and perform general store-team duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The posting describes flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
• Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Have the motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately, and be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Be able to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Be able to carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing, and navigate five or more flights of stairs when required.
• Be able to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, including unloading with a hand truck and stacking cases on shelves up to 72 inches high.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including at multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
