About The Position

Room & Board is hiring a Delivery Driver who also contributes to warehouse operations. The role focuses on creating exceptional customer experiences and representing the company’s products and reputation. The employee is part of a three-person delivery team, alternating between driving a truck, assisting as the delivery partner, and working indoors in the delivery center. Delivery work brings home furnishings to customers in the Seattle area. Approximately every 4–5 weeks, the employee works in the delivery center preparing products for delivery, staging merchandise, performing basic assembly, and inspecting quality.

The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with paid overtime. The position is based at 19920 66th Ave South, Suite 100, Kent, WA 98032. The listed salary is $55,000–$60,000 per year ($26.45–$28.85 per hour), based on experience and qualifications, with guaranteed salary and occasional paid overtime.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to drive a 24-foot box truck; training is provided.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items with assistance from a team member and/or proper lifting equipment.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to pass pre-employment requirements, including a 5-panel drug screen with no THC.
• Ability to provide proof of identity and legal work authorization upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home furnishings to customers across the Seattle area as part of a delivery team.
