About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers Domino’s products to customers within a designated delivery area and performs general store team-member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including management. Orientation and training are provided on the job. Store duties may include operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Driving duties include delivering orders by car to customers’ doors and distributing flyers and door hangers. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and delivery sites, while carrying products.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, reaching, bending, and occasional stair or ladder climbing.
Far and night vision for driving; ability to talk and hear on the telephone; near and mid-range vision and depth perception for store tasks; and ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including through adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory; complete associated paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Unload and stock deliveries, including moving supplies with a hand truck.
