About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes helping in-store with preparing products, taking and processing orders, stocking ingredients, and other general store duties. Domino’s provides training for deliveries and in-store work. The position offers opportunities to develop within the company, including potential paths to management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, and continuous reaching and hand use.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Help with in-store work when not making deliveries.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
• Perform outside tasks, including removing trash.
