About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also helps with in-store work, including preparing pizzas, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Domino’s provides training for delivery and in-store duties. The position offers opportunities to develop a career at Domino’s, including advancement to management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
Proof of car insurance.
Safe driving record meeting company standards.
Ability to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to drive, stand for most tasks, walk short distances, and perform the physical tasks described in the posting.
Ability to lift deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, carry supplies and dough trays, and push or pull loaded trays on dollies.
Ability to occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder, bend, crouch, squat, and reach continuously.
Ability to use hands continuously and frequently use one or both hands; shaping dough requires frequent, forceful use of the forearms and wrists.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Talking and hearing on the telephone and near- and mid-range vision are required for job tasks.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Unload and stock bulk product deliveries, using a hand truck as needed.
Perform other outside tasks, including removing trash.
Change prices on signs and perform maintenance tasks as needed.
